Your hosts are Peter Curcio and Nick Horton.
A Bit About Peter…
Peter is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and certified USA Weightlifting coach. He wears many hats in his professional life, as a personal trainer, sports nutritionist, and independent nutrition consultant.
Peter is living proof that you CAN lose weight and still love cookies. Peter grew up a fat kid, and struggled with weight his whole life. He’s now lean and athletic, and loves sharing what he’s learned with others.
A Bit About Nick…
Nick runs the popular weightlifting blog, The Iron Samurai and is head coach at the worlds only Online Weightlifting School, Weightlifting Academy.
He was also the founder, owner, and head coach of PDX Weightlifting, in Portland, OR for 7 years where he took that club from nothing, to the largest in the State of Oregon with multiple national level athletes in various sports and helped hundreds of beginners learn the sport of weightlifting.
But it hasn’t been all fun and weightlifting…
He also had to deal with his own fat loss journey!
Like so many people, he woke up one day and realized he was fat. But unlike most, he didn’t want to do things the “slow” way. He wanted rapid results, and got them.
Using the principles outlined here at High Octane Body, he lost almost 20 pounds in just 4 weeks. And a total of 44 pounds in just a few months.
